Groveland Gallery’s Plein Air Smackdown is a highly anticipated annual gem in the Twin Cities art community. Every year, we invite a deeply talented group of regional artists to work in situ to create plein air paintings that chronicle the local beauty, nature, and architecture of our region.

We have been curating and hosting this beloved local event for the past eleven years, we have been presenting this event around the Chain of Lakes community we neighbor, and look forward to it every year!
