Michayla Grbich is a Minneapolis-based illustrator, writer, educator, and head curator at Groveland Gallery. Working across mixed media; including risograph, painting, digital illustration, collage, portraiture, gig posters, and long-form zines. She approaches her practice with empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to storytelling.
After years of participating in gallery exhibitions as an artist, Michayla remains dedicated to building connections within the Twin Cities arts community. Her clients and collaborators include FreshEye Gallery, AlsoCool Magazine, Gallery1988, Light Grey Art Lab, and Otherworldly Art Collective. Her work has been recognized by the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Midwest Review, and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and she has served as a panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts.
Michayla holds both an MFA in Visual Studies and a BFA in Illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design; where she also instructs in the BFA program.
Mira Chaudhry is the gallery manager at Groveland. She is responsible for assisting with daily operations and serving as a welcoming presence for visitors entering the gallery. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Theology, and a minor in the Philosophy of Law and Politics from the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota.
During her time studying Art History, she developed an interest in the business and legal side of the art world, particularly in the antiquities market, and artist rights.
She served as a Curatorial and Digital Research Assistant at the American Museum of Asmat Art at St. Thomas, where she worked to digitally repatriate the historical records of Asmat cultural heritage objects. This project informed her passion for crafting ethical approaches to museum and gallery work, which she brings into her role at Groveland.
Mira grew up in South Minneapolis and currently resides in St. Paul.
Guinevere Keith is the secretary of Groveland Gallery, Inc. She is the granddaughter of Alfred Keith, founder of the Groveland Gallery and Groveland Financial, Inc. Her liaison role supports the Gallery Director in their administrative and financial coordination with the Groveland Financial offices. She is helping steward Groveland Gallery forward, celebrating the timelessness, legacy and success of Groveland Gallery’s unique community impact. Guinevere grew up around the Gallery and is so grateful to represent the third generation of the Keith Family’s support and presentation of fine art at Groveland Gallery.
Additionally, Guinevere is a political theologian-in-training at Villanova University in Philadelphia, PA. From line leader at Kenwood Elementary School to earning a Master of Arts in Political Science at Boston University, Guinevere’s career is both people-centered and policy-minded. She currently teaches community programming at Villanova’s Center for Peace and Justice Education, inviting learners to explore the relationship between spirituality and social justice in their lives.
She approaches the Groveland Gallery’s corporate meeting minutes and book keeping with a sense of joy and wonder that her Grandfather Alfred shared.
Victoria Keith is Programming Director of Groveland Gallery, networking with local arts organizations, community organizations and city leaders. 2026 highlight events currently planned include participation in Doors Open citywide event featuring Groveland Gallery’s historic gallery setting, 11th Annual Plein Air Smackdown Event July 25th, Forever Young Group Exhibition and Nature Narratives Group Exhibition. Victoria has been involved with Groveland Gallery for 25 years and has done in depth research into the rich story of Groveland Gallery’s history. This research has culminated into a hard cover book recounting the history of the 1894 Frank B. Long House in which the Groveland Gallery resides.
Victoria graduated from the University of Minnesota Journalism school majoring in Advertising and Marketing. Her next 25 years were spent designing and hosting the Stone Arch Festival of the Arts on the Minneapolis Riverfront which featured over 200 Artists and other city events including the 4th of July Fireworks event on the Minneapolis Riverfront. Victoria’s Italian great grandfather and great uncles were the plaster and sculpture artists who worked with Cass Gilbert at the MN State Capitol, St. Mary’s Basilica, The State and Orpheum Theater. Victoria is a plaster artist herself. She is curating upcoming Groveland Gallery Art Shows and partnering with Minnesota Arts Organizations featuring Groveland Gallery’s renowned and emerging Minnesota and Regional artists – as Groveland Gallery continues into its second fifty years of community based, thoughtful and inspiring programming.
